Dustin Mills, President, Taft-Mills Group
Dustin Mills serves as President and is the Co-Founder of Taft-Mills Group, LLC. During his 26-year career in the multi-family industry, Dustin has served in various senior-level positions for several regional and national development firms. In this capacity, he has overseen the development of more than $800 million dollars in completed projects. As an expert in the fields of Affordable Housing and Historic Preservation, Dustin has developed more than 4,500 affordable units through the Housing and Historic Preservation Tax Credit Program(s).
Dustin holds a Master of Science ("MSc.") degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University in New York and a Master of Business Administration (“MBA”) from the Kenan Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He holds a post-baccalaureate certificate in Urban Land Development from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed his undergraduate work at Wingate University.
Furthermore, Dustin is a Board Member of the Wingate University Board of Visitors and the Town of Chapel’s Hill Housing Advisory Board. Previously, Dustin served as a Board Member for The Boys & Girls Club of the Coastal Plain, the Pitt-Greenville Convention & Visitors Authority, the Greenville-Pitt County Sports Commission and was the Vice Chairman of the City of Greenville’s Planning and Zoning Commission.
Dustin and his wife, Pattie, reside in Greenville with their two daughters, Layne and Emmy.
